Academics

For Tri Sigma it is very important for our members to take their academics seriously. As a sorority, we require a minimum of a 2.5 GPA. This is set in stone to be a benchmark for our members and push each other to maintain and excel academically as well as in the sorority. Each week at our chapter meetings, someone is rewarded for their good grades. We do this through a fun activity called “Sigma Smartie”. One or a few “sigma smarties” are named and we talk about their accomplishments for that week. This is a fun way we are able to recognize and push our sisters to strive for academic excellence. Aside from grades, Tri Sigma is a great way to find connections and networking through the various opportunities we offer. Another great opportunity is holding a board position. This can teach you amazing leadership qualities while being a great resume booster! Sigma Sigma Sigma has so many opportunities for their members to be great socially and academically and that is one of its most unique qualities!
